This is the very first photograph I ever took, back in 1976 when I was 7 years old. I had found my Mom's Kodak Starmite in the attic and she gave me money to buy the #127 (square image) film. It was the summer of the Bicentennial and I was trying to capture our flag blowing in the breeze.



Living in a small town, it took two weeks to get the film back from the developer... *sigh*. 



The camera and photo still sit on a shelf in my home office.
